XJ 400S-AWorkover Rigs

The rig consists of seven parts, including a power system, transmission system, chassis system, drawworks system, mast and traveling system, control systems (hydraulic, air, electrical), and matching accessories. The main configuration of this model rig is as follows:

  • Power System: Engine Detroit Diesel Series 60 (450HPat 2100rpm)- Allison S5610 transmission. 1 ­ 100 gallon diesel fuel tank. Fire retardant muffler. Heat Exchanger. Chassis System: 5 axle, Catwalk with stairs and handrails on operator side, one stand up tool box and 2 horizontal type tool boxes. Single man cab.
  • Drive System: Right angle Gear Box, Drive Lines, two front steering axles and 2 rear driving axles and one air adjustable drag axle.
  • Drawworks: Double drum with 42X12 tubing drum and 42X10 Sandline drum with self-energizing brakes. One 48X7 air actuated auxiliary disc brake. Both drums are splash water-cooled and the auxillary brake is air-cooled.
  • Mast and traveling system: 104’Angle Iron Mast, Crown Assembly, Rod basket, Delayed action tubing board, mast incline indicator, folded mast base.
  • Control System: (hydraulic, air, electrical) Main oil pump, steering oil pump, mast raising cylinder, mast scoping cylinder, 4 rig leveling jacks, 8,000 lbs service winch, Hydraulic oil tank. Air compressor, reserve tank, air drier, console box with adjustable operator platform.
  • Accessories: Negotiable

The Dragon XJ400S-A model is a 5 axle carrier with a single man insulated Cab. The rig is powered by a Detroit Diesel Ser. 60 engine. Unless otherwise ordered it will be set up at 450 HP@ 2100 rpm. The transmission will be an Allison S5610 model. The mast will be a 104’ 225,000lbs. on 6 lines. All major components of the air and hydraulic systems are of US origin.

NOTE: Engine, Transmission, and all major components of the air and hydraulic system are of US Manufacture. All rigs will be run tested and masts pull tested with certification.
